| The Damned Election is Over |

Senator Barack Obama will be the new President and this is a good thing for the nation in that the campaign is now over. The commercial and all of that crap is done.
There are times when I have feelings that are not best expressed on a public forum. When it takes too much explaining to people when I see them face to face the discussion is not worth it. When i hear the words of Jeremiah Wright, I hear them differently form most Americans, in as much as I wish he had kept his mouth shut, I hear his words differently form others and once again, I will not get into it.
There was allot of Hype and genuine beliefe behand the heard earned campaign of Senator Barack Obama. In my family, I express the political views of my father and became a Republican, while at the same time, my brother Michael became a Democrat and each sunday we talk politics over dinner at my mother's home.
In as much as politics are about Issues to me, politics are about emotions to other people and my family is no exception to this rule. My 80 year old mother never thought that she would ever see a Black man elected to office. My mother had seen Black people lynched in her youth and the nation was a very different place then, the emotions are running high now, American History, we all know what that was about and I will not get into now, you all reading this have a clue and know full well what I am talking about.
I am not a racist and I will be damned if I ever vote for a man because he is he Black, in my mind, it is all about the issues and the difrection the nation and people. Senator Barack Obama does nto strike a chord in my heart, but I see the excitement in the eyes of my sister and brother's children. They see what could be and what could be achieved if they could believe. A year ago, a Black Man winning the Presidency of the United States of America was a Dream and a down and Out fantasy, Now Look! Is this about race, to many people. In the eyes of many of my family members, this is Hope! That does not mean much to many, but, it does to me.
President Elect Barack Obama has one hell of a job ahead of him. Our nation has warriors fighting in two Islamic nations and i could go on and on about that. Will he appoint the right Judges to the Supreme Court? Will he protect the rights of all Americans? Will he get us out of this economical mees that we are in now? Will this nation be lead out of the dependecy of the Petroleum addiction and cleaner air and water? President Elect Barack Obmama has a job ahead of him and he had best not let down my family and to this end, President Elect Obama does not get a free ride from me. |

This election year will be over about this time tomorrow. We will have a newly elected presidient and no matter what , the Vice President will be a Dope! Don't get me started on Sen. Joe Biden nore Gov Sarah Palin, the fun will never stop. I went by star Bucks and got a free cup of coffee for participating in my Patriotic Duty! |

Some Obama ground pounders came by the House today. Made me wonder, why aren't there any McCain people out doing the same thing in this neighborhood. Maybe there are some McCain people out doing the door to door thing. I have not seen them i this neighborhood. This is pretty much a mixed neighborhood. theer are McCain and Obmama people out here.
My Gut feeling tells me that McCain is going to win this election, as a Republican, I like that. I dislike his choice of running mate, i dislike his ass kissing to the far right wing Jesus Fan club types. John McCain will alwasy be an American Hero to me despite his more than Human qualities.
baracj Obama has to have his props and i will give that to him. To this American, the man is allot of Talk and I mean allot of talk! The level of trust I have for Obama is rather shallow. His choice for running mate is a piece of work! Joe Biden is the biggest loud mouth in the nation, if not one of them. Too bad he and that piece of work Sarah Palin can not run together that whole seperate party thing, what can I say?
The election is not over until it is over. Pollsters continue to annoy me, there are things I like about the election atmosphere, then again, I just wish it was all over |

I Have had to go a whole Day without eating. Please forgive the description, but I have to have a nasty colon exam and as such i am not allowed to eat. Now, Ihave to reward myself for being a good boy and not violating the doctor's instructions. Have you ever ahd that urge to eat veggies and fruit? that is what I am in the mood for now.
There are a number of salads I enjoy, so I may do those. believe it or not, I have become a fan of Eggplant. Maybe I will have some of that. We will have to see. There are a number of odd foods I would like to have, for example, fried beef heart, thinly sliced and friend lightly in oil with a sprinkle of garlic. In my youth,. I loved liver and onions, maybe beef heart and onions would be a nice dinner, we will see. |

Funny how much I htink about my smell, I mean my bodily aroman. It is not as bad as you my think. The idea began at Pennsic, I want a signature Achbar aroma. My though was to find an essential oil colgne of some sort and wear that as I fight, this way, I would not have the classic sweaty fighter smell. Everyday, I shower and use soap, so there is just the work related smells and when I fight of course, there are the sweat related aromas.
There are a number os colognes out on the market, no doubt, I will ahve to go cologne hunting. Cool Water is a nice cologne, I had some of that once before. Maybe I should try that again. Well, I a open for suggestions. |

OJ Simpson is going to prison. This is good, he had gotten away with murder for years. Now, no Johnny Cochrane to save his sorry ass this time. The man is 61 years old and deserves to spend the rest of his life in jail. What does this tell his kids? You can do what ever you like and get away with it so long as you have money? | Guitar |

Tonight, a buddy gave me some lessons in Guitar. The same techniques could be used on Oud. In short, i need to practice and keep at it. My hands are huge and difficult to curl around the neck of the guitar. These hands were made for drumming. My hope is to learn another instrument and expand my Horizons. This idea of Guitar comes and goes, there are times when I can stick to it and then there are times when I can not. I ahve DVDs and beginner stuff, but having a person there showing what you are adoing right and wrong is another things altogether. Wish me Luck |

The rental is a Silver 2002 Dodge Charger. The target date for completion is next Friday, the day after my Colon exam, talk about a pain in the ass week! The damage to my van is over $2,500 Plus. According to the Geico rep, they should have it all pained and everything. As of yet, I have not heard form the Progressive Insurance rep, that is fine. I just have to get on with life. |

I just saw the VP Debate and I ahve to say palin was not too bad. While I think she would stiunk as a Vice President, she held her own and has a killer set of legs. I love that Gothy look she had tonight. The Govenor is hot, that is all i can say, almost as dumb as a brick, but she is hot. |

This is another van struck by a crazy driver. I had to call my Inusrance company to get this mess fixed. I hav to spend $250.00 out of my pocket, you know, the deductable. Progressive can not get a hold of their client. They may be trying to reach the young lady who hit me, but I am not too sure. This friday, my van goes into the shop and I get a rental car. |

| Wilmington Weekend |

This weekend was a good weekend. Dawn , two other friends and i spent a nice weekend in Wilmington, NC. This was the first time I had seen Wilmington since 1978. The town has grown allot since then. We took a Ghost tour on saturday night and had anice time. According to the 2000 census, Wilmington, NC has a population of 75K people. While we were there, we enjoyed the beach. yes, this was a Nice weekend. |

I am 312 pounds. i am too lazy to get off my butt and lose it. This bothers the doctor. My cholesterol is high and the Doctor has suggested I get on a South Beach Diet and work out. I spoke to Progressive insurance people. I hope to get things fixed soon. Wish me luck. People love running into my vehicles |
